Downtown Tempe. When you live in an urban area, it's no surprise that you end up wanting to be part of the downtown area. Here are a few must-see places:

Arizona State Fair. The fair grounds are right down south of Tempe. This is where you can find all kinds of exhibits, such as rodeos, tractor pulls, and more. It's also where you can go to the annual tomato festival, learn about the state of agriculture in Arizona, and more.

Hayden Butte and Baca Park. If you love the desert and sandy beaches, then these two places are perfect for you. The Tempe Beach Park has playgrounds, swimming areas, picnic tables, and barbecue grills. If you want to be closer to nature, check out the azalea blooming plants at Baca Park. Both of these parks are within walking distance of Tempe.

Things to do with family in Tempe, Arizona

Mill Ave in Tempe

Mill Avenue Event Center. If you want to have fun during your visit to Tempe, look no further than the town Lake View Park.
